Nice! yeah, one of the default settings on LeagueSafe is to send out daily reminders to all of the deadbeats. I thought about turning it off, but figured leaving it on would be more fun.

Thanks for making me feel like a shithead for a day, jackass. This will make taking your money that much sweeter.

TigerPride and EZE haven't paid yet. I know TP is waiting until he gets back to Germany to pay. To be fair, they still have almost a week until the deadline.

I hope they're enjoying their daily emails

EZE was having problems, but was going to try from his work computer where he originally signed up. And TP is our lone liberal, so....

Alright, I'm an idiot and new to fantasy football, so when is the draft order decided? Has it already been or is it decided right before the draft starts?

Also, we're still scheduled for this coming Sunday at 2:00?

ETA: Nevermind.

You can delete that entire post, I promise I'll pretend I didn't see it

Looks like we're all paid up save for TP10 - anyone seen him on? I think he was traveling over the weekend, and said he was pretty sure Sunday at 2:00 could work for him

he sent me this fb message the other day:

Cubs!

I wanted to message you since I may not be around a computer for the next few days. I haven't paid the fee yet for the fantasy league, but I plan to pay it on Friday or Saturday of this week before the deadline. As I said before, I just want to make sure that nothing goes wrong with the travel plans before I spend money on entertainment.

In the event that the awesome people of our league are wondering what my deal is, forward this message along to them.

Thanks cubs...I'm not worried about him not paying or anything - I'm more worried about him not making the draft and trying to get a fill-in at the last minute. I think we're going to have to stick to the draft date and time no matter what. It's pretty damn hard finding a specific time that is good for everyone in our league.

If his travel plans go awry, we may just have to have a 13-team league.

Nah. His team will just autodraft, and he'll have to work free agency and trades. Easy money. Don't let that go.

After involving pretty much every single person I know or encounter in my fantasy plans and hearing their recommendations and experiences, I kinda wish we were having a draft party now...

Too bad everyone lives so far from one another. Some BBQ, some shite talking, and a fantasy draft...what could be better?!

I am proposing a BR draft party.

I'm taking this fantasy league entirely too seriously. I spend my free time reading up on strategies and worrying about the draft order. I bought a fantasy book from B&N on my lunch break yesterday. I think my bf is afraid that I'm going to grow a penis by the end of the season.

Cubbies, you have no idea. Wait til the season starts and you are able to access the waiver wire, cut & add players, propose trades, analyze the weeks match ups to determine the starting lineup.

March Madness is the only thing worse for work productivity than fantasy football (with TD.com a close 3rd). I haven't played in 4 seasons b/c of the time commitment to be relatively successfull...unless you have a horseshoe up your arse or something. Those people actually win on occasion.

You'll find yourself in sports bars more often on sundays unless you have NFL season pass, thus probably drinking more to. You'll love it. BTW, football knowledge is a turn on to most guys...as long as you retain some other skills as well.
