So who gets the majority of the snaps now that Pachecho is out?

Perine

Old and slow, but a true HB. Gonna get the 1st and 2nd down carries.

Steele

Basically a FB with some extra speed. Will get the short yardage and 3rd down work.

Factor in the return of CEH and the Chiefs backfield is overall just not fantasy viable, at least not consistently. The upside is that Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and even Rashee Rice owners having something to look forward to.

I think Steele gets the 1st and 2nd down snaps with goal line carries with Perine being the 3rd down back

And they looking at signing Kareem Hunt

Backfield likely becomes muddled. Which is a a huge waste.
But it's KC, so having one of them ad lottery ticket is not the worst thing

They are bringing in Hunt to kick the tires this week.

CEH may be back after W4.

Running back by committee. No one worth stashing unless your in a 16 team league.

I feel extremely confident that Perine will be getting the 3rd down work and the bulk of the passing action. This is a guy who is already playing some 3rd downs and passing situations and had over 200 more receiving yards than rushing yards last year in Denver.

I'd rather have Perine, I could see some Jerick McKinnon type of usage from him.

Agree neither are amazing pickups.
