I’m the LM of a league with me and a bunch of my buddies. A game between a couple of them was close, and team 1 won by ~2 points. Team 1 was quarterbacked by Ben Roethlisberger, who scored 3 points before his season ending injury. Team 1’s owner cut Ben at the conclusion of last nights game, and those 3 very significant points were taken away from team 1, giving team 2 a 1 point win.

As league manager, is there anything at all I can do for this?

Don't allow roster moves until all games are completed. I've never been in a league that didn't lock rosters once that player's game started through Tuesday morning.

They dont lock at game time?

You can adjust points through lm tools I believe.

ESPN locks all players. How did this even happen?

But yes, you can adjust in LM tools.

Lock the teams at kickoff and stop blaming ESPN.

The teams are locked at kickoff, that’s why I’m confused this happened. If they weren’t I never would have blamed ESPN

This but don't make rule changes during the season. To the guy that dropped Roethlisberger, tough shite. The rules are the same for everyone. Read the rules before you play.

Are you sure there wasn't a stat correction somewhere that cost some points, and it has nothing to do with cutting Ben?

This is a good point as well.

Same thing happened in my league where a guy made a few moves after the mnf game which is normal. Our league waits till Wednesday morning to have the waiver transactions go thru. His transactions went thru last night and then reset his point total to zero for week 2

FYI ESPN servers messed up and unlocked all players last night. They found out and shut everything down for a while. It should be fixed now. If not, I’d report it to them
