Should I dump Starks and take a shot at Alex Collins

PPR league. Starks got me a TD reception last week and he's good with screens, but they can't run for shite.
At worst, Alex Collins is a backup right now or sharing the backup spot with that UDFA guy, and Rawls is never healthy.

If you are starting starks or if he is your first back up in the case of an injury to a starter, I would say hell no.
If Starks is your RB5 or 6 then I guess maybe you could consider it.

I have 4 RBs. I started him last week. If Hill and Hyde are healthy, they are my 1/2 from here on out.
My other RB is Duke Johnson. I started him while Hyde was out. I just picked up Starks. He's in Lacy's IR slot.
Also, dynasty league. I have Lacy and Abdullah in IR. There's no way I even consider protecting Starks next year. At least Collins MIGHT have a future.
But asking Hyde to finish the season healthy is like asking the Sun not to set.

Never done dynasty.. don't know enough to answer your question from that perspective. But from a this season perspective, I think you have to keep starks. You'll need immediate help if a starter goes down. Starks starts now and is involved in the offense. Collins is an unknown and likely needs a Rawls injury to be relevant.

I'd keep Starks if you're trying to win this year. I'd pick up Collins if you're building for next year.
If you want to do both, keep Starks. I think it's more likely that Starks helps you this year than it is that Collins helps you next year.
