I think that's just the date that was picked by the Commish when he created the league. It can be changed pretty easily.

Correct - I picked the only date/time that everyone who responded said they were available for (or so I thought) - does Sept 1, 8:00 not work for anyone?

Um, I have another draft going same night at 7:00. Anyway to maybe bump it to around 8:30? Or to Wednesday night at anytime after 6?

Just sent out an email for payment. 3 people still have not joined the league. And very few people have weighed in on the draft date/time. BBonds asked if we could move it to another day. And some other people mentioned 10:00 was kinda late (I agree, I'm not sure how that happened).
In any event, I gave the Yahoo page a quick scan and can't figure out how to change the draft date/time, so if anyone actually knows how to do this, I'd be obliged for some advice

I'm flexible on the draft date, so whatever day is fine with me. I do prefer the later times though, like past 830ish.

I'm flexible on draft date too. As far as time goes, the later the better, but I can make almost anything work.

Divisions weren't my intention, but yet another setting not intentionally made but that I don't know how to change. This is the price y'all pay for asking a computer illiterate person to switch over to a website with which I'm unfamiliar. I'll mess around with it tomorrow once I'm on the clock.

Go under your commissioner tools / look at the second grouping of controls your have about midway down the page / it's about the third or fourth one down I believe.
Like I said earlier, I have another draft at 7:00 or 7:30 that same night, so if we can do it around 9 at the earliest the better for me. But I do know a lot of the draft times are full on the first. I commish of a work league on Yahoo and was going to move our draft time to accommodate this one and had very few options.

gotcha. Check out the "Commish Tools" tab on the league page to change all the league settings. And the "Draft Central" tab to change the draft time.
eta: if we have to do it at 10:00 on a thursday i will make it happen but thats pretty late for me on a school night. I dont know how you all feel about doing it on a friday night, but i dont usually go out partying with super hot chicks until after midnight so i'd be down.

Thanks, I'll check out the adjustment once we come to a semi-consensus. What about keeping it that same Thursday night, but bumping it up to 9:00? 10 is also kind of late for me. If we start at 9:00, it should be over by 10:30.

Bad news - I realized the reason the draft is set for 10:00 is b/c it's the only time available on Yahoo. To get an 8:00 or a 9:00 draft time during the weekday, we'd have to bump it up to Thurs, August 25.
The only later non-weekend days where an 8:00 slot is available is Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day), and Wed, Sept. 7 (the day before the season opener). Neither sound that great. I'm thinking we should try to rough it, and just leave our draft as it is, but I'm still flexible.
I could always switch us back to ESPN and see what dates/times they have available, but I'm pretty sure that won't be a popular option.
