Oh..but the 14 team league is sooooo hard!
We need to cut some teams so there are players on the wire.
We need the comish to not not fill in lineups for teams that quit b/c that's unfair.
We need ESPN. :wah:
I need to learn how to login to Yahoo. :wah:
Congrats on the win Cubbs.

That was quite a matchup for y'all - the loser was going to have a really hard time making the playoffs. Congrats!

this should be the first determinate in anyone being booted. It shows the person really doesn't want to play.

I'm gonna be top 4-5 in points & miss the Playoffs
I still have an outside shot, but need to run the table.

I think I'm the most enthusiastic person in our league.
You're just sore because you tried to trade me for my "injured" RB and he scored 30 points.
I think you suck at this game.

I want to be really mad at you but I'm too busy laughing right now. Especially at the "i need to learn how to log in to yahoo"

How do we do tie-breakers for playoff seeding? I don't see it on the settings. I've got the fewest points in the 4-way tie for 2nd

I think I should be the tie breaker.

I'm pretty sure it goes by points for.

At this point, I'm hoping for head to head :fingerscrossed:
If any of you computer folks can look on the site and give us a ruling, I'd be much obliged

As far as seeding Playoff teams, this is how you have it set:
Playoff Seeding Options: All teams seeded according to overall standings
As far as tiebreakers go for the Playoff seeding, this is Yahoo's default setting:
Please note: Teams must have identical winning percentages to be tied. For example: a team with an 10-5-1, or a 65.6% (10.5/16) record will be seeded ahead of a team with an 10-6, or a 62.5% (10/16) record.
Ties are broken in the following order:
Division winning percentage.
Total fantasy points (season total).
Fantasy points scored in the last week of the league's regular season.
Fantasy points scored in the second-to-last week of the league's regular season.
The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.
Division winning percentage is determined by dividing the number of wins against division opponents by the total number of games against division opponents (division record is currently not displayed and must be determined manually by viewing a team's schedule).

When are the playoffs? Is it pretty much decided who's going?
Posted on 11/8/11 at 8:11 am to ZZTIGERS
Thanks ZZ - Odd that head-to-head matchups don't show up somewhere on that list, but oh well.
I don't really like the division thing, but I guess we're stuck with it for this year.

quote:We have 4 more regular season games - spots 1-4 are looking pretty safe at this point (knock on wood). C is fairly comfortable at 5. The last spot is a tossup, with only 3 people in serious contention at the moment. You have a 1/2 game lead for the spot over Trola, and GP only 1 game back.
When are the playoffs? Is it pretty much decided who's going?
*No real big matchups this week - someone near the top of the standings is playing someone near the bottom in almost every game. MSM (#2) is playing Trola (#7) - that's about the closest matchup. No need to remind you that you're a huge MSM fan this week Cubs.
