****he just made me an offer of Jarvis Landry and Marlon Mack for Christian McCaffrey. I think I may take it.

Been my worst fantasy season ever. Trying to make something happen and division leader willing to trade. He wants McCaffrey from me.

My team
Brees
McCaffrey
James White
Sammy Watkins (WR is where I need help)
DJ Moore
Aaron Jones
Kittle

Bench
Fournette
Doug Baldwin
Golden Tate
Jordy Nelson
Matt Ryan

His team (I’ll just show you his RBs and WRs for sake of the trade)
His RBs
James Connor
K Hunt
Chris Carson
Marlon Mack

WRs
Mike Thomas
Edelman
Jarvis landry
Calvin Ridley

He wants McCaffrey from me and willing to give up 2. I’ve verbally offered him for Landry and either Mack or Carson which he is all about. Should I stick with that trade since I need WR help or make another offer? He turned down Edelman and Jarvis for Mcaffrey, which would have been my advantage obviously.

Sorry for your season so far but I'd go for the throat on someone to give up mccafery. You need a significant upgrade if you go that route. I'd want mike Thomas and mack maybe. If he'd go for it.

I'd counter with McCaffery + Watkins for Mack + Thomas and see what he says.

Pretty even trade:

Fantasy SP

McCaffrey + Nelson for Mack + Thomas is also pretty even according to FantasySP

M+N for M+T

Offer him mccaffery for mike Thomas and mack first. See just how bad he wants him. If he shuts ya down I'd throw in my most expendable WR as a sweetener. He says no again I'd say no thanks to a trade. Good luck

If I’m you I would approach this trade with the idea of getting Connor and Landry for McCaffrey. You’re an outside shot at making the playoffs. Two things can happen here: this trade boosts you to the playoffs and leaves you with a good playoff team or Bell comes back and Conner loses his value and you miss the playoffs anyway

I’m not guaranteeing the guy will accept the trade, but I think this is your best legitimate shot to make the playoffs. Present the trade as you taking away the risk of Conner/Bell scenario and him getting a top tier RB in return that won’t have a risk of losing his job

Thanks for the feedback guys. He’s a hard no on letting go of Thomas. But all others are on the table. He seems ok to let go Carson or Mack with Landry. I’m just debating if there’s another option outside of Mike Thomas

Your call. I'd stay put for now and revisit it next week maybe. Mack is on Bye week and you're in win now mode . Tell him no thomas no deal and just stay put. If he comes off Thomas I'd take that even with Mack on bye

Yea the bye week is big. Not to mention Jarvis has a bye week in 2 weeks also. I think I may just stay put.

This would improve your WR corps, but potentially downgrade your RBs (depending on how Mack continues going forward).

Your call

No he’s not willing to give up Connor. The only reason I’m willing to give McCaffrey is because I have Fournette coming back after this week.

LF is no guarantee for more than 2 quarters, and if he stays healthy he and Caf could save your season

That’s true. My only worry is if I don’t make a trade, I have no true WR 1 or 2. Sammy Watkins is hit or miss. Baldwin sucks, and Tate just got traded. See no value with him anymore IMO
