Tony Romo
Calvin Johnson (acquired in Brandon Marshall trade)
Vincent Jackson
Torrey Smith
Marshawn Lynch
Alfred Morris
Jimmy Graham
Mason Crosby
SF (and KC at tail end)
12 team keeper. Led league by 100+ points, #2 seed.
4th place, missed the money.

That's a perfect example of why I hate play-offs. We play all 17 weeks and the best records get the money.

I had Manning, Calvin, demayrius, shady, alshon, Vereen, Jennings during his peak and didn't win it all. In a 12 team league.

I'm almost starting to be down with this idea. The regular season should be where it counts not a fluky one game wonder where the best team all year gets beat by something like a Jammal Charles.
I know in the NFL that the best team doesn't always win, but this isn't the NFL and I'm starting to believe that winning the long regular season should be just as big of a prize as the crapshoot playoffs in fantasy.

If jamaal charles scores 25 points, I would have went to the championship and ended up winning the whole thing as I outscored both Super Bowl teams in the final week.
Instead, Charles scores 59 points and I'm out in the 2nd round of the playoffs. $0.00 to collect!

I trade Decker for Jordy. Last week of the season and all I have to do is win to make the playoffs and I play the team that I traded Decker to. Has Percy in his flex instead of him but Percy is ruled out at the last second and puts Decker in at like 12:55. Decker puts up like 43 and I lose by 5 and don't make the playoffs. I'm an idiot.

Picked up mike James after Doug Martin got hurt. Needed 5 points on MNF from James to tie. James breaks his ankle at the 1 after picking up 40 yards on the first drive
That win would have given me the 1 seed

Trading Andre Johnson for TY Hilton and Antonio Gates. James Jones and Riley Cooper were hot so I was looking for flex help and at the time, Gates was considered a top 3 TE. Hilton was having a pretty good season so I figured it was my gain as Andre and the Texans were just sucking week in and week out.
No. Andre proceeds to blow up while Gates and Hilton drop right back into obscurity.

I won 8 of my last 9 match ups.
The one loss? Week One of the playoffs, of course.
I was 13-1, put up 142 in my playoff game, which is 15 points higher than the average of my opponent, yet he decided to put up 190.
What sucks more is that the week before i put up 213, the week after, 192 and the week after that 176. I also set a record for highest average in our league that we've been playing in for 6 years.
Our championship game was 109-101, while i had 192.
I feel as if i was to believe i was unstoppable, only for the fantasy football gods to take a giant shite on my chest.

Just another reason to not have play-offs in fantasy football. In real life, NFL teams have a defense. In fantasy you can't control how many points your opponent scores. I like playing all 17 weeks and the best record wins. The whole idea about not playing week 17 is overrated. There actually aren't many teams who bench their starters. That's also part of the strategy and the reason you have bench players. It's also fair for everyone and tests owner's ability to pick up players the last week if need be.
