You and I just look at it different, but I see punting on RBs early as a bad decision this year...

that's not punting RBs.

Its not like Im shitting on MJD. He is still a 1st round pick. But im taking him later in the 1st.

Are you totally discounting that he generally gets 3-5 catches a game?

No.

Ray Rice caught 78 balls for over 700 yards.

Steven Jackson caught 51 and has caught 90 in a season before.

you act like I am putting FB's ahead of him.

If Steven Jackson scores 3-4 more TDs in 09', we arent even having this discussion. I doubt he scores only 4 TDs this year.

I disagree about MJD, but at least you can back up your opinion as usual

S-Jax hasn't played a full season or topped 8 total TD's in 3 years.

he's still young and looked mighty fresh last year. If he gets injured, so be it. He proved healthy last year after 2 dinged up years.

I think he'll be fine. at his worst he is becomes serviceable, at his best he is a top 3 RB.

that's not a ringning endorsement of considering him over MJD. but, whatever.

It's not exactly black and white. We are talking the 1st round here. Most of the guys are equal. Like I said, Im not shitting on MJD. I'm just not taking him at 3. I see 2 stud RBs and I'm onto Mr. Bress. Not a Saints homer pick. I just know what im getting weekly.

just my preference. Doesn't have to be yours. I watch a lot of games, study a lot of stats. I form my own opinions, and dont really listen to the talking heads. It's just what I think.

Yeah, I talked about MJD too much.

My point was more about taking a QB that early as opposed to any RB.

Brees is consistent sure, but I think the point gap between Brees and QB 10 is waaayyy smaller than MJD and RB 10.

There are just certain leagues where its flat out dumb, certain leagues where it is very warranted.

4pts per touchdown, 1pt for 25 yards, no bonuses and I'm not touching a QB until the 10th pick

thats true definitely. but with the landscape the way it is now, im not afraid to take a WR in the 2nd round instead of a RB if i go QB in rd 1.

too many committees. too many unknowns. (RB position)

With my own projections, in some instances id feel safer taking Brees and a WR in the 2nd than to take RB/RB or RB/WR in First 2 rounds.

Not to mention i see some decent value in the 2nd and 3rd round with RB based on my projections

Yeah, if that's how you feel, I'm sure you'll make it work.

I like counting on RBs, probably to a fault.

of course it depends on scoring

but there are prob 6 1st RD RB's and 1st Rd worthy WR.

if you are taking Ryan Grant or Deangelo Williams or Moss or Fitz over Brees then you are dumb. regardless if its 4pts for a pass TD.

I believe in VBD Marle....and there are easily 15 qbs that are worth starting available. So unless people start taking their back up QB before you get your first, you will be ok.

With a 2 RB 2 WR and Flex position you are looking at 60 RB and WR starting every week.

I honestly believe its foolish to take a QB before the 6th round.

it would be better if you would have kept your money where your mouth is and not dropped out of TDFL. Easier to argue this bullshite when you aren't racking up losses.

but, you didn't...as usual.

Nobes, name your top 12 players for me.

The difference between the top QB and the 10th QB last year was just over 6 points per game. That's pretty big. If you want to go all the way to 15, you are talking Kyle Orton, David Garrard, Jason Campbell you are talking almost at 8 point per game game.

There arent enough good WR or RB to continuously pass on a QB before the 6th round.

That's crazier than me saying MJD might be the 8th or 9th best player in the 1st round

Because i dont like MJD at #3?

Dude, all you do is talk shite. You try and argue about everything but you are scared to back up anything that you say.

Yes, i ducked out of an internet league with some people I dont know from internet. Shame on me. Im in 4 other leagues with real people. Get some friends, maybe you would understand. I don't know what else to tell you.

of course. 4 to 5 leagues was the tipping point...

you have time to share your knowledge on here about everything under the sun, but no time to set one more lineup? For someone as smart as you i would think that would be a minimal time investment.

you fear me lester and you know it.
