That is part of it... why not make it a roto league. No head to head... top scorer after 16 weeks wins. So playoffs in semifinals ... will it be top 2 scorers for that week or you just completely change the way you run things at that point?

Because this way you are still playing against half the league each week. For roto like you mention, there is literally no reason to follow it what so ever. At least this way, going into Sunday night/Monday night games, you know what to root for and what to root against.
ETA: I'm fine either way but the top6/bottom6 was the vast majority vote. Half my leagues are like this and the other half are traditional head to head. I much prefer this way but will do whatever the league wants next year

I am in 5 leagues... this is tied for the 2nd highest amount I play for and the one I check the absolute least on weekends because it is way too much to scroll through 5 match-ups to figure out if I have a chance to win. Takes every bit of fun out of it as someone who doesn't even like football but needs an excuse to watch it.

Watson an 8th round keeper next year. Zeke can be had too, he'd be a 1st round keeper.

He's active in the fact that he sets his lineup but he missed our draft and wasn't responsive to paying on time. All goo now though
