Picking 12th, Cap'n Crunch bumbled their way through their picks, leading to a projected finish of 11th in Pelicans Talk FF League with a record of 3-10-0 (1,500 points).
Except their other projections have me 6th

My team is good, I drafted the best way possible. Rb depth is week but good starters for ppr and romo will be top 6 in pts this yesr

I like your team...where the hell is Lobos with his draft review?

I'll do a draft review tonight. Let me polish off this bottle of wine and move on to White Russians before I start.

Will be doing this in groups of 3s.

Most all of the starters. I think that the top 3 picks had a pretty big advantage this season with Shady, Charles, and AP being a notch above anyone else + loads of late 2nd/early 3rd talent. Shady was easily my #1 player this year, especially in a full PPR league (which I have little experience with). Jordy won't go beyond his ~1300 yards he had last season, but he'll add ~15 catches and 4 or 5 TDs if AR plays a full season. DJax is a one trick pony, but he's as good of a go route player as they come and people forget how efficient of a deep passer RG3 was as a rookie. Cecil Shorts is one of the most underlooked producers in the NFL and he should get marginally better QB play this season.
Dislike: I don't see Le'Veon Bell is a starter on a team that should feed their RBs a decent amount, but he's really just a guy (3.5ypc last season, though he added ~40 catches for 400 yards). I think Blount will steal a good chunk of his production. Gerhart is also just a guy when it comes to talent, but the volume will be there. Randle, Khiry, Moreno, and Helu are pretty poor bench players. The league doesn't reward passing TDs well, but passing yards are more valuable than a lot of leagues I've been in and Kaep won't throw for a ton of yardage.
Expectations: Shady and Jordy are fricking hunks that will carry this team. The other starters are good enough. A playoff team that will be fricked with a McCoy injury, but would probably be the favorite if Ingram were injured and Khiry got to get more playing time.

1. (2) Jamaal Charles (KC - RB)
2. (23) Alshon Jeffery (Chi - WR)
3. (26) Keenan Allen (SD - WR)
4. (47) Cordarrelle Patterson (Min - WR)
5. (50) Andrew Luck (Ind - QB)
6. (71) Chris Johnson (NYJ - RB)
7. (74) Marques Colston (NO - WR)
8. (95) Jordan Reed (Was - TE)
9. (98) Justin Hunter (Ten - WR)
10. (119) Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
11. (122) Tavon Austin (StL - WR)
12. (143) Jarrett Boykin (GB - WR)
13. (146) Lance Dunbar (Dal - RB)
14. (167) Kenbrell Thompkins (NE - WR)
15. (170) Denver (Den - DEF)
Likes: Again, a good year to draft in the top 3; however, Drake didn't take advantage. Charles will be a stud, though he's the least likely to stay healthy out of he/AP/Shady. Jeffery will be very good (though see: Dislikes). Colston will be solid.
Dislikes: Almost everyone else. While, again, Jeffery will be very good, I don't love the idea of drafting a guy that isn't a clear cut #1 WR so early. I can see weeks where Marshall dominates while Jeffery plays decoy. I like Allen, but I don't see him improving. While talented, Patterson was a massive reach. Chris Johnson is fricking terrible. I really think that Colston will end up your #2 WR most weeks over your 3rd and 4th round picks, and your #2 RB will be terrible. Ingram's production will be too sporadic unless Khiry is injured. You could have gotten Luck's production 4 or 5 rounds later.
Expectations: This team will suck.

13. (147) Antonio Gates (SD - TE)
14. (166) Kansas City (KC - DEF)

Likes: Probably the best 1/2 punch in the draft. I'm not QUITE as high on AP as everyone else (he has too fall off eventually, though I may be saying that for another 15 years), but he'll be very good. Brown is a PPR monster (I'm used to going RB heavy, so I may have made a mistake passing on him in favor of Ball). Gronk may be as good as Graham.
Dislikes: Gronk may play 5 or 6 games. Big risk, though I can't say that I disagree with the choice. Spiller is also a huge risk that has looked bad in the preseason. The Bills haven't really known how to use him lately. The bench is very high risk/low reward. I don't expect much of Watkins.
Expectations: This team has the highest ceiling, and even the floor is still solid. I didn't know whether to put Ridley, Joique, or Cooper in the likes or dislikes (and I put Gronk in both) since there is such a huge range of likely production. Best case: total annihilation (the good kind). Worst case: total annihilation (the bad kind). Realistically, AP and Brown are studs, Gronk give him 12 very good games, and one of those other iffy guys dominates while the other two are meh or worse. Highly likely a playoff team.

I get what you're saying, but I think he's a clear cut #1 fantasy WR...finished 8th in our league last year.
quote:
Chris Johnson is fricking terrible.
I'm not thrilled about him either, but he finished 10th last season, so he could easily be a solid RB2.
...and I love Patterson this season. I'm a believer. He picks up where he left off in the last 4 weeks last season.
Thanks for the review

14. (165) Steve Smith Sr. (Bal - WR)
15. (172) Brandon LaFell (NE - WR)
Likes: I don't have a ton of PPR experience, but I think CJ would be my second pick after Shady since he's more likely to stay healthy than Charles. The addition of Tate will be more likely to improve his production that hurt, IMO. Julius Thomas is the perfect example of that early draft pick advantage I was talking about as he's a great #3 pick. I wouldn't be shocked to see Hill be a better player (both IRL and fantasy) than Gio. Pierce was a steal after him as I see Baltimore phasing out Rice. Terrance Williams doesn't have long term production, but he should improve on last year's production, which would make him a solid value where you got hi,
Dislikes: I like Ellington, but his schedule is fricking brutal (and he's @StL and vs Seattle in the playoffs). I think Fitz will see another decrease in production and put up an 80/900/8 type season (not bad, but you could get close to that with a Colston type a few rounds later). Sproles will not put up Saints type numbers with Shady ahead of him. You drafted Stafford a bit too early, though he will put up good numbers. Nicks/JFF was horrible. Did you do a few whip-its over those two rounds.
Expectations: I think that Ellington's brutal schedule really lowers the value of his #2 pick. This team will absolutely need either Hill or Pierce to be the #1 RB on their team, though I wouldn't rule either case out. And while he'll be very good, I don't see Julius Thomas quite matching last year's production. This will be a competitive team that will flirt with the playoffs, but it doesn't blow me away.

Likes: WiseGuy's flux capacitor. Cobb should be very good. I could see Shonn Greene being the Titans's #1 RB, which would be very valuable given their elite OL talent.
Dislikes: I would have sex with this team if it were 2011 or 2012. Forte is declining and I think the most overrated player in most fantasy drafts. PPR saves it from being a terrible pick. Foster is a huge risk, though with their QB situation, I could see him meeting his draft position's expectations. We still aren't sure who Griffin is. I'm 31 and I feel like Welker could be my dad. Rice is a mess. Harvin just got a migraine looking at this fantasy team.

15. (174) Dan Bailey (Dal - K)
Likes: Again, Manning will drop off due to age and a much tougher schedule, but Thomas will be good. The two players drafted after him were better choices. Roddy White showed that he still has some left in the tank when he was healthy last season. He should dominate in garbage time. Devonta Freeman SHOULD be Atlanta's guy, but who knows with Mike Smith. He may give Jackson 300 carries. If he knows what's best for him, Freeman will be a great value there. Stills is the overlooked guy in the Saints offense. McFadden may be solid and didn't cost you much.
Dislikes: I don't see Cameron being as good as last season if Gordon is out for the year (which I think he will be). Teams will focus on him since. I think that Gio has been really overrated and is more of a 6th round type guy with some upside. The Pats are such assholes with their backfield that I don't think Vereen matches the hype.
Expectations: Could have done better with #1 pick, but Gio was the only bad pick on the team IMO. On the other hand, no one else gets my mangina moist. Solid but unspectacular team. I would be shocked if they weren't in the playoff hunt, but I would be much more shocked if they actually won it all. IAMTIGERNATION09 MORE LIKE IAMBORINGTEAM14 LOL!!!

Just said Forte and Gio were bad picks.
I appreciate your effort and all, though
