I just haven't been able to justify taking a TE in round 1. Not when they have 4 or 5 other ones who are prolific in their own offenses as well.

You take Graham and play him in the flex and still draft another TE. You treat Graham like a WR, just don't pay him like one

There are quite a few WRs I see scoring more than Graham so the idea of drafting him as a TE and inserting to the flex ahead of the top Wrs doesn't make sense to me. You can just draft one of those top WRs instead, put them in the flex, and be scoring more points. Drafting JG with the idea of drafting 2 TEs only makes sense if you think JG will score more than the best available WR

You draft Graham to play at TE, knowing he's going to outscore your opponents TE. By a lot.

You also realize WR is deep, so you can get comparable WRs to the ones you would have drafted in the 1st round.

2011 Graham would've been the 3rd highest scoring WR

2012 he would've been the 16th highest scoring WR

2013 he would've been the 6th highest scoring WR

Not only are you getting top flight WR numbers from your TE, he's also outscoring the second tier TEs (which is basically every TE save 2 or 3) that the majority of your league will own by 100 points. In turn, the 2nd and 3rd round WRs you are settling for if you take Graham are only 20-30 points off the 1st round WRs. If you play your cards right, there is an advantage there.

He's making fun of drafting a TE because he had no valid response to your post.
