So my dynasty team is in a bind at the RB position. I need some help with a trade target and what to offer..

My RBs consist of Brian Robinson Jr, Dalvin Cook, Jeff Wilson, Elijah Mitchell, and Kendre Miller.

My WRs seem to be good.. CeeDee, Rashee Rice, Garrett Wilson, & Jerry Judy

I also own the #1 pick, 2nd round #1 & &3 picks.

Assuming I take MHJ with #1 I could trade one of my receivers for a RB.

Any help??

Add Tyrone Tracy and as many rookie RBs off the waivers as you can

Ouch at those RBs.

I wouldn’t trade Lamb or Wilson, Rice is damaged goods, and I doubt Jeudy could yield much.

I agree with sticking up on rookie lottery tickets at RB. Might be worth looking into second year guys that didn’t play or barely played like Dewayne McBride

How good is your team realistically? I wouldn't do anything drastic for a short term RB fix because it doesn't seem like your team is anything special.

I'd see if Rashee Rice + 2.01 could get you into Trey Benson territory at 1.09 or so.

Your WRs aren’t that good either

I’d punt and try for 1.01 next year too

Yeah, I’d take MHJ, take best available with the 2.01/3.01 this year, and hope for another high draft pick next year.

I wouldn’t go into the season with the intention to tank. You never know what will happen. People who had Mostert on the end of their bench last year ended up with an RB1

I don’t think the OP needs to tank at all. Based off his RB’s and WR’s, he’s probably in a position for a reasonably high draft pick next year, and doesn’t need to trade for a RB yet. I think that’s what the other poster was getting at.

Raheem Moster, at this time last year, would be his current second best RB

Unless it’s a 16+ team league, his team is awful

Look at Ekeler’s contract. NFL thinks he’s done, Brian Robinson could still have a role. Kendre Miller entering year 2 and Jamaal Williams also looks as washed as a sponge. You can make upside arguments for those two and if he hits jackpot on a rookie. Just isn’t fun playing to lose, if his team sucks he’ll end up with the 1.01 or close regardless. Play to win

That’s why they call it the productive struggle

If you have to make excuses for mediocre players and hope for the lowest % chance of upside, you’re making too many excuses

His team isn’t built to win now. Trading for CMC wouldn’t make his team a win now team

Like others said, I wouldn’t make a big move bc your team isn’t likely competing this year.
I’d let the season start and if your team ends up doing well, I’d try but for now hang tight.

If you can get Alvin Kamara for a reasonable WR. I think his value is too low this year and you may be able to get him cheap. With the new offense having Kamara and Miller could be a good combo to have. Miller should be the guy going forward. Consider drafting Kimani Vidal if he is there in the second round. With Harbaugh as the coach the Chargers will probably run the ball often.

Find a sucker who will give up max value with Rasheed Rice. Hit them with his accomplishments last year, while at the same time avoid mentioning he maybe suspended because of 2arrests in Dallas during the offseason. Just my opinion, but there will always be a sucker in your league that you can take advantage of and you probably have some of your participants in mind. Talk up rice’s good side and avoid his legal troubles. Nothing better than fricking somebody in a trade.

This is a nice idea and all but I’d guess most people playing in a dynasty fantasy football league have checked twitter in the past 3 months and know that Rice has pending legal trouble.
