Not sure about this one since his was an alcohol violation after getting a DUI. I haven't heard them relaxing any booze/DUI rules.

Hopefully we hear something in the morning and don't have to wait all day for the news.

It's looking bleak from the sounds of it.

I just want a decision soon so I can drop him

I'm a fun sponge :/

If that is true, NFL.

These guys are out there and running into each other at high speeds, yet then can do anything on their off time to help out with that aches and pains? Throw in the concussions and they are banning guys from using weed when it is good for your brain. It's retarded really.

In the NFL or including college?

In the NFL it is his first for weed. His first positive test for the suspension last year was for codeine I think. He failed a bunch in college.

So, he's failed two drug tests for two different recreational drugs?

Yup. He claims the codeine was prescribed by his doctor, and the weed was second hand. Excuses he would give whether true or not.

The owners don't want the new rules to apply to players previously suspended

Hopefully the players union won't budge on this

The only reason I would think it looks bleak is because of the amount of players that would have to be reinstated and the situation the NFL is in. After the Ray Rice fiasco, essentially the NFL would have to come out and say "oops, we fricked up again.". Plus many owners are not happy about certain players getting reinstated and others not. I think it's 50/50.

ETA: I spoke too soon.
