Gordon has averaged 17.2 fantasy ppg his first 2 games back with abysmal quarterback play that really can't get much worse. There are only 10 WRs averaging better than 17.2 on the year. I'm really not concerned at all and have given zero thought to moving him out of one of my WR spots.

This. Anyone that thought he would come out and be back to scoring 30 a game was being sarcastic/delusional. He should be starting for about every team out there and if you somehow have 3 better receivers/flex options you should have traded one to help out elsewhere.

Yeah but I'm disappointed in the lack of garbage time production

Gordon is a legit NFL WR, but we can't all dismiss the fact that his production last year had some to do with the fact that Cleveland had zero run game and threw like 90 percent of the second half when trying to get back into games

Gordon put up like 5 for 50 at half I believe and only had two catches in the second half, one when John Football came in.

When I saw the 20-3 score I went six to midnight ASAP because I figured they would throw to Gordon 12049142 times

It also has something to do with new regime. For whatever reason, Cleveland still believes in running the ball down 17 in the fourth quarter

They were not trying to run that much. They just could not get the offense going. It was turnover city for them. Plus, Manziel had that brutal double fumble for a Bills TD.

It can get worse

Hoyer can suck it up but he's still going to force feed Gordon. But CLE is going to have a quick trigger finger and we could see Manziel early. There is an unknown there that could wreck a lot of playoff teams who were relying on Gordon to come in and frick shite up.

People are really confident in Manziel because he "ran and around and just threw the ball up to Mike Evans in college"? lol. It doesnt work like that in the NFL and Gordon isnt Mike Evans

If the dude continues to put up 7/75 then you may as well start Jarvis Landry every week

If he continues that I'll start Gordon because Landry can't touch Gordon's upside.

Landry's season high in yardage is 75.

Gordon has an 8/120 and 7/75. Landry's best day off yards and receptions alone is 8/68. He has eclipsed that score of course, but 7/75 is great for Landry.

Gordon still has 29 targets in 2 games. Landry has a season high in targets of 11. It is important to note that his recent targets have risen (10, 11, and 11 in three of the last four), but Gordon will be force fed more.

Gordon is not ahead of the true blue bloods of the WR's right now, but I would take him over any rookie in the game this week.

I agree with this. I think Johnny is in for a rude awakening if he starts pulling this crap if/when he gets playing time. And I don't think it will work out well for Gordon at all.

I didn't expect you guys to take the Landry thing literal. Just trying to illustrate a point that the CLE QB situation is volatile and has the chance to wreck owners now that the playoffs are here. You may not get that chance to play next week

Hoyer playing the best thing for Gordon. But his shitty play leaves the possibility of seeing Manziel fairly quickly on Sunday. No one should want that

13.2 a game in .5PPR. less in standard. not arguing that the guy is talented, but to people benching Sanders/Julio/Cobb for this guy and his QB, I just dont get it.

I'm pretty nervous. I own both philly WRs vs SEA. Marshall who has sucked dick. And now Gordon. I have zero confidence in my WRs this first week of the playoffs.

All could drop 20 spots, or all could shite the bed

Oh you have WR confidence problems?

Josh Gordon
Mohamed Sanu
Kendall Wright

ETA: Would you play Moncrief over any of them?

That's fine, but a floor of 7/75 is not bad if that is his true.

Agreed, but Gordon is not the reason I made the playoffs and I am not putting all my chips on him. He replaced Cooks for me.

You will NOT see Manziel on Sunday. NO WAY an NFL coach not named Steve Spurrier pulls his starting QBs 2 weeks in a row, after having the team vocalize their distrust of the backup.

According to Steven A Smith and his sources inside the locker room, most of the locker room want Manziel to start.

Wright hasnt been good with Mett. Moncrief really hasnt seen the volume of targets but he's seeing a lot of snaps. I think he outscores Wright but who knows

ETA: hunter is out though, so wright could be in line for more work

I show no pity to those owners. That's their problem for not trading one of those guys away.

In one league I have Dez/Brown/Gordon/Benjamin and tried my hardest to get rid of one them to upgrade at RB, but had no takers. It helps Benjamin is hit or miss, but I'd hate leaving that many points on the bench if I had a bunch of top-end WRs
