My Best Fantasy Football Advice

Do research for 2017 now while fantasy football is fresh in your head.
Some of the information is obvious and you will not forget it like David Johnson or Leveon Bell should be your top pick. However, you can easily find certain players you prefer, have value, or are on the verge of breaking lot.
Maybe flag Bilal Powell cause he can catch passes and looks good handling the full workload even in a dumpster fire of an offense. Whatever his ADP, I may go higher.
What about Cameron Meredith? He ate with Barkley under center, so remember that his draft position could be cheap and he could be a great fantasy WR if Barkley is their guy.
Cam Newton and Russell Wilson were awful this year, but remember how good they are in most years. Newton has been a top five fantasy QB 4/6 years. However, you have to consider he ran less this season and struggled badly with accuracy. Now is a great time to remember these details.
Throw all your player notes and guys you want into a Word or Excel doc and/or email to yourself. Now, you have good in-season research from someone you trust. It should be the baseline for your 2017 picks.

*Don't say bad things about Dez Bryant at the draft. He'll end up throwing a TD pass to lose you your championship
*Don't draft a QB in the top 4 rounds
*WR/WR/WR is still a good strategy regardless of how good the elite RB's did this year

Auction Draft is the best way to go. Amateurs play that snake crap

I always go RB - RB - WR.
Posted on 12/28/16 at 9:02 am to IMJ127
What I go depends on the players available.

Amateurs also play standard.

My best advice is never take advice from tzimme.

Also no player is QB proof. See ex. Hopkins

my best advice is that it doesn't really matter.
My first 5 picks this year either got hurt for the season in the first 2 weeks or I dropped them b/c of poor play. I still finished with the 3rd most points and if not for Drew Brees sucking it up for 2 weeks would have been in the championship game, and lost.
I have finished with the most points in 4 of the 7 years we've played. I have 1 championship. One guy has 3 championships in those 7 years, he's finished no better than 3rd in most points in any given year.
how you manage your team throughout the season in FA and trades, and how lucky you get with opponents scoring points on you is what will determine if you are successful.

I highly suggest people play at least one auction league to get a gauge on how big of a difference it is compared to snake.
While I prefer the standard snake draft for balance of teams, the auction leagues I have been in the past couple years make for the most entertainment.

Auction really is the far superior way to play fantasy football

This guy gets it

Just by concept auction league makes the most sense. You get the players how you value them rather being held to some arbitrary order. I still haven't had to opportunity to try it, but I will try to talk my league into trying it again this offseason.

Gonna make a hard push for auction this year

Mediocre drafts, bad trades and injuries can all be overcome by superior team management.
Play in multiple leagues. Even if there's no payout, it'll expand your FF knowledge immensely.

I told everyone NOT to play Farrow the past two weeks which probably helped someone win a championship if they listened to me. What have you done lately? Oh yeah, nothing
Add to the fact I kept insisting the Bucs were a solid streaming defense during their Week 12-14 run which nobody backed me on.

He advised me to play Farrow over Rawls last week, was the difference in me winning my championship.
