I agree with you picking him earlier, but I've seen Walker go in the middle of 3rd rounds in 10 team mocks. That obviously isn't going to last.

Surely Croxley didn't leave with only one person picking between his 2 picks.

Yeah I knew Hampton wasn't going to make it to me. That is who I REALLY wanted in the 2nd round.

First round recap:
quote:

1.01 — CEtiger (Jahmyr Gibbs) The Verdict: The absolute alpha move. The Roast: You looked at a board full of safe choices, laughed, and took Jahmyr Gibbs at 1.01. You didn't just take a player—you made a statement. While everyone else is sitting around waiting for 20-touch grind-it-out backs, you locked in the ultimate PPR cheat code. The only downside? You now have to sit around for 23 picks while the rest of the league tries to figure out how to catch up. 1.02 — AURX (Bijan Robinson) The Verdict: Played it safe. The Roast: AURX sat there researching ADP just to copy-paste the consensus pick. Zero originality, zero flair. Took the easy way out because making a bold call requires actual confidence. 1.03 — lsulunatik (Ja'Marr Chase) The Roast: Solid pick, but taking Chase at 3 means ?lsulunatik? is already praying Joe Burrow stays upright for 17 games. Every time Burrow stretches his wrist on the sideline this season, this team is going to break out into a cold sweat. 1.04 — sainttigerpel (Puka Nacua) The Roast: Drafting Puka in the top four of a PPR draft is bold, but you can tell ?sainttigerpel? is banking heavily on Cooper Kupp's body completely giving out. This pick feels like paying maximum price for a guy who plays football like a runaway bowling ball. 1.05 — LSUSW / TheWalrus (Jaxon Smith-Njigba) The Roast: REACH OF THE ROUND. Taking JSN at 1.05 over Amon-Ra, CeeDee, and Justin Jefferson is wild behavior. The Walrus must have seen one highlight reel from last season and lost his mind. Good luck explaining this pick when JSN drops an 8-point week while Amon-Ra catches 12 passes for 110 yards. 1.06 — bhamtigah (Amon-Ra St. Brown) & 1.07 — NoleMan (CeeDee Lamb) The Roast: Total draft-room auto-pilot. Both of these guys stared at the board, panicked that wide receivers were flying, and grabbed standard chalk. Zero complaints on the talent, but zero points for creativity. 1.08 — stupak1 (Christian McCaffrey) The Roast: ?stupak1? is living in a time machine. Drafting CMC in Round 1 means you're basically drafting his physical therapist, too. Hope this roster came with an official partnership with an orthopedic clinic. 1.09 — bulldog95 (Justin Jefferson) The Roast: Getting JJ at 1.09 is incredible value on paper, but ?bulldog95? is still drafting a wide receiver whose weekly projection depends entirely on quarterback play not seeing ghosts in the pocket. 1.10 — jcwilk88 (Jonathan Taylor) The Roast: JT at 1.10 in a full PPR league? That is a bold strategy for a guy who barely catches two passes a game. ?jcwilk88? drafted an old-school running back in a 2026 PPR format. 1.11 — croxley99 (James Cook) & 1.12 — dcaff97 (Ashton Jeanty) The Roast: The turn got chaotic real quick. ?croxley99? grabbed James Cook, hoping the Bills don't steal his goal-line work for another year. Then ?dcaff97? wrapped up the round taking rookie Ashton Jeanty at 1.12 before following it up with Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker at 2.01—apparently planning to run a military offense with zero wide receivers.

That AI info is all over the place, still thinks Kupp is on the Rams. I think it’s considering previous years because I don’t think anyone would say JSN is a reach at 5.

I regrettably take Saquon Barkley and his bankable volume.

I’ll attribute the Eagles running woes last year to their terrible OC and O-line injuries.

Robust RB is so in this year.

Those roasts are so dumb. Roasting people for taking the best player because it went along with ADP?

Yet Gibbs is a creative pick? He's literally in the top 3 on everyone's draft board. They just made a few comments then randomly attached them to players/draft positions.
