The Chiefs initially made it sound like Charles had soreness in his knee related to his ACL surgery. Now Crennel appears to be changing his tune after giving his top back two touches in the second half. "He fell on his knee, got bruised, came up limping, so we took him out rather than leave him in there and expose him a little bit more," Crennel said. "Then as it developed, the other players were doing decent, so we didn't feel a need to put him back at that moment." Charles admits he's not 100 percent, but did put in a full practice Wednesday

there'd be no reason to veto this. Charles hasn't exactly lit the world on fire, and this guy may want to get out from under him before his stock bottoms out and possibly get leshoure on the upswing. I wouldn't do this deal, but its still justifiable
absolutely no grounds for veto

You fools play in some shitty leagues

He was held out of the 2nd half due to precaution.. For all we know he is good to go for week 3
Absolutely no reason to trade for Leshoure.. there's likely waiver wire backs better than him

Where there is smoke there is fire
Charles/Hillis are already in line to lose carries to Draughn

I really like this trade for both sides
Leshoure is talented and in a great situation so he has a ton of upside. Charles owners are rightfully nervous at this point and this is a deal I'd def consider if I was one
And the LeShoure owner prob has other backs that he can use Charles to complement while he waits on him to come through. Great trade imo

Both are coming off season ending surgeries. One guy is proven and actually had a decent week 1. One guy has never played a down in the NFL. One guy is in a run heavy offense. One guy is on a team that threw more than all but 1 team last year. So yeah, great trade.

I have high hopes for Leshoure. When Jahvid Best was the primary back, they used him a lot.
Charles has been good in the past but his "sore" knee would worry me as an owner. I would probably try to get someone a little more proven than Leshoure but I don't see this trade as unfair.

Do you think Draughn will get more carries if Charles continues to struggle? Been keeping him on watch to see how that backfield shakes out.

That's fine.....but the owner of that team wants to roll the dice on Leshoure, his team his choice.

I just picked up Draughn of FA this morning just in case. I'm thin at RB after my top 2 and 2-0 so at the back of the waiver line.
