I'm torn between Matt Hasselbeck or Matt Ryan

Hasselbeck @ home vs Cardinals chance of rain (worse pass defense)
Ryan @ home in dome vs. Bears (Ryan did well vs Bears last year)

Hass could be the #1 QB this week with Brees going against the Giants and Peyton on bye.

I'll make the case for Ryan to give some balance. He just got done shredding a good 49ers defense on the road. He has much better weapons (an elite WR and TE) than Hasselbeck and doesn't have to worry about rain or wind affecting his throws. The Bears defense is not as good as it has been in the past. And Hasselbeck is one good hit from going out. Those ribs aren't fully healed.

No he doesn't. TJ Housh, Carlson, Burleson, and Branch are as good if not better than Roddy, Tony G, and Jenkins.

Also, don't forget how shitty the Cardinals are. The Cardinals are giving up an average of 310.2 yards and 2 passing touchdowns per game

Laugh all you want, but you're laughing alone.

Carlson 22/239/2
TJ Housh 27/325/2
Burleson 30/358/3
Gonzalez 19/215/2
White 23/329/3
Jenkins 14/187/0
Seattle has done this without their starting QB 3 of the 5 games they've played. Still feel like laughing?

You're going off of four games. Level of competition matters too and Atlanta has had a tougher schedule thus far. Cedric Benson leads the league in yards from scrimmage so I guess he's better than Adrian Peterson. And Desean Jackson is better than Randy Moss. Not to mention Kyle Orton is better than Tom Brady.

It's ok man. You don't have to admit you were wrong. TJ has consistently outperformed Roddy White throughout his career. Tony Gonzalez is obviously better than Carlson. Burleson has outperformed Jenkins. Branch was the MVP of the Super Bowl. I really don't see how you can sit there and say Atlanta has a superior WR corps. It's just not true.

Roddy White's career numbers:
253/3,865/19
Housh's last 5 years to make it fair:
399/4409/34

Michael Turner is part of that supporting cast as well. Teams load up to stop him and it leaves White and/or Gonzo in single coverage. Nobody is afraid of Julius Jones. I don't think many teams would take Housh over Roddy White these days. He's a good possession receiver; White is a game breaker. Gonzo is one of the best of all time. My bet is that Hasselbeck would gladly trade his weapons for Ryan's. I seriously doubt Ryan would do the same.

The Back is back. I would go with Hassle free Hasselback.
Unless of course he re-injures himself if the wind blows on him the wrong way.
Ryan can have a big game but they rely on the running game first.
What running game in Seattle? They rely on The Back. Just hope a a fall colored leaf falling from a tree and blowing in the wind does not land on The Back and injure his back.
