I’m quitting fantasy football for real

I always have the worst luck. I’m going to finish the season with most points in a 12 team league, and by far the best team, and not make it.
Went into tonight down 1.5 with Kelce (PPR), going against Zuerlien and Rams D. Lost by 1.5
This is my team, and again I won’t make playoffs in a 12 team PPR league:
Matt Ryan
Kamara
Connor
Julio
Cupp (now Alshon)
Kelce
Mixon
shite is way too frustrating. Not worth this anger.

I get it. That is a good team. I'm second highest and in the last playoff slot and highest points against by 70+. It's frustrating.

At the end of the day make a call and stick with it regardless of outcome, all you can do.
Look at the data, feel the numbers and make a call and stick by it, don’t tinker at 11 45 on a Sunday.

Well, it’s basically a form of gambling (assuming you play for money). It’s like betting on a future, only to watch it crash and burn in front of you
And when you lose in odd ways, it feels like a bad gambling beat. For me, I have three losses by 4-5 points each that featured an in-game injury. One year, I lost a game on a kneel down. Sometimes shite happens

A couple of weeks ago I went to bed with a one point win only to wake up to find out I lost by one due to post game adjustments. Frustrating...but funny in retrospect. Luck absolutely has a lot to do with it...but it makes the weekend interesting....

I have the most points scored and the fewest points scored against and I'm only in first place by 2 games with a 100 point cushion for the overall points bonus

I have a similar team in two leagues, I'm 10 - 1 in one league and 5-6 in the other. I'm the 3 time reining champ in the 5-6 league but I probably wont make the playoffs...

One of my teams this year is just destined to lose. Had Bell with no Conner, multiple early season injuries, have most points against, etc. Not only do I get everyone's best week, but most of them scored 30-40 points higher versus me than their next highest scoring week. It has been truly bizarre. Last place team who is lucky to crack 100 most weeks in PPR had the stars align and scored 160 vs me. I also noticed everybody I play never has any significant bye weeks..all their byes come the week before or after I play them. Sometimes scheduling is just as unlucky as you can possibly imagine.
