yes but automatically putting the highest scoring player on the bench is fricked up and unfairly affects the other players as well.
Maybe put the player that had the highest projection on the bench, that'd be a little less messed up.

In this case, the rule was known though and if people didn't like it they should have voiced their opinions before the season

IF you want to do this rule (which I think is absolutely horrible) it should be the highest projected scorer regardless of what their actual point total ends up being. Weird rule which i don't like at all though.

I still don't really like the rule at all fwiw but i can somewhat stomach that scenario if everyone agrees to it and the commissioners are willing to pay attention and do it consistently.

- but i'm not in there so obviously it doesn't matter if i like it or not.

man, this rule is arse backwards...

why not implement a rule that penalizes the slap-dick owners, rather than his opponents/league?

That can still be done, but the ones who do it (and are at the bottom of the standings) are still benefiting from it.

Can't tell anyone who they have to start
Can't accuse anyone of tanking without proof

The only thing that can be forced is a 100% active roster. If there's a set standard implemented without confusion, I don't see the problem. It could have all been handled way better, I admit that. But the fact remains that this is the only feasible way to prevent tanking.

ETA - This is a Dynasty league so a competitive advantage of tanking is possible. Doesn't mean a thing in a standard re-draft league.

Simple...because the primary concern is protecting the person who has the first overall draft pick. It's protecting manager that wants the first overall pick (aka Fournette) from potential shitty management.

This isn't about winning the league, it's about fricking draft picks. And rule after rule has been passed to protect the draft order, with complete disregard to the things that should be important (the people winning).

It's funny that in over half the instances this rule has not been enforced all season. I pointed out two times it happened in this thread. Now all of a sudden this late scratch stuff has always been a rule.

Which was the first incident? Was he the guy who reversed his Dad's dropping Hightower or was that another guy?

It doesn't change the outcome of the match-up. We clearly and repeatedly stated that even IF we make a roster adjustment (with the highest projected bench player), it can NOT change the outcome of the game. They will be awarded the highest possible score without changing the outcome.

I couldn't give two shits about who gets the #1 pick if it's not me.

Yes...same league.

Commish acted the arse for that, saying that this was the ruling and we didn't like it then get the frick out. Well enough complaining, combined with the thread about it on here, got it put to a league vote. The league vote easily passed and Hightower was forced back into FA.

This stuff starts popping up and he is called out on it again and he acts the exact same way. Ran two people out of the league, and he was a cocky a-hole about it again, not realizing that multiple multiple other people in the league think it's a crock of shite too.

That's even dumber. Now you not only change line ups, you also change score.

This particular case puts the players who is the #2 seed 30 points closer to first place...AND 30 points closer to winning the money for most points scored. That's a big fricking deal.

Hey, this dude might not play...let me play him anyway, because if he doesn't then he will be replaced anyway.

It's obvious we are seeing this from two completely different views. You're not convincing me and I'm not convincing you.

What's your end game here?

It's funny how you stand up and knight for Ethan though...yet you hide from him and avoid it when you don't agree with him.

Well you're making it personal now. Carry on. Just remember it's just fantasy football.

That's nuts

You can't change rules and procedures during the season. You guys have to just eat whatever you decides before the season, then make and vote on changes in the off season

I'd just get my money back if they are changing stuff and being inconsistent

How about they make a lottery for the picks NBA style if they are worried about people tanking? Would be a lot less sketch.

Well I'm the arse hole who is just starting shite....yet It's just that way bc I'm the only one that says something.

Now that your on Ethans side of it you have no problem jumping in the argument...but when it's the other way around you ride the fence.
