So, who is rolling with him week one? I picked him up late in my draft last night and hoping he is a solid flex play, but just curious what others think. I searched and seent a lot of folks drafted him, but haven't found much chatter. thanks

I picked him up pretty late as well, around rnd 12 or so. I won't be rolling him week 1 though

Someone besides Olsen has to get targeted.

I would wait if I had better immediate options however he could be a possible flex by next weekend.

yeah, I just don't feel comfortable. But, they gotta throw the ball to someone... and G. Olsen is likely to draw some of the coverage. Could make for some good matchups for D. Funch. I hope that game is televised so I can watch and see.

I currently have Charles Johnson as my flex option this week. I think he's going to be sneaky good this year.

I picked him up but he is my wr5 right now. We will see, all the defenses in that division are trash so he could have a good year

You should stick with Johnson week 1. In the Fantasy Pros who to start machine, it's 79% for Johnson and 21% for Funchess. I don't even think Funchess is starting. Maybe he'll turn into Kelvin the II down the line, but stick with the safe play week 1.

I used that thing to decided between C Johnson and another guy too... Good stuff. If Funchess isn't starting, then I missed something. I was under the impression that they were hurting at WR. I took him more as a gamble than anything. Might try to trade him off as soon as he has a good game. Just don't trust much in Carolina right now.

Doubtful that either is particularly reliable. Rolling Johnson WR3 myself for week 1, but I have a feeling Wright is going to make his way in to my starters soon.

Devin Funchess did not play with or catch a pass from Cam Newton in any of the four exhibitions.

Besides the injury, local reports have been that he is not nearly as talented or explosive as Benjamin. I wouldn't trust any Panther pass catcher not named Olsen.
