reddfigg, Leonys Martin was my #1 sleeper this season. I think he will post a 100/12/60 line with 40 steals. Good pick

I like his skills; I would like him a lot more if he were hitting in front of Fielder + Beltre though. He needs Andrus' spot in the lineup.

he's going to leadoff this season

quote:

He's also stolen 30 bases with 65 runs scored in each of the past two seasons. How many guys have done that? It's a small cohort of four men: Jacoby Ellsbury, Carlos Gomez, Starling Marte and Martin.

I saw the Abreu post earlier in this thread. Read Gray Albright's opinion on him. I thought it was pretty interesting.

Short summary:

First half sick power
Second half .452 OBP
Best average FB distance in 2014 (can't remember if that is something Gray wrote about or I just looked up)

He may not replicate 2014, but he will produce. When that guy said he would be #5 1B, that is not bad. Personally, Abreu is my #4 1B (Goldy, Miggy, E5, Abreu). Finishing top five at first base would just mean one other dude like Freeman or Hosmer passes him.

He's a top 150 player if hitting in front of those 2.

How hellacious is parking for the parade today?

We usually park in the warehouse district and walk. i wouldnt even try to get close to the quarter. though this year it goes through the WHD, so the parking may be a bitch there too
