I'm actually fine with waiting longer. I'm just not starting today or within the nxt week.

How about just a live draft March 2nd?
Or are we gonna cater to the newbs who need a month to draft prep AND take hours or days to make a slow draft pick?

And you aren't prepared to pick the 6th best player in MLB if your turn came up for a draft? 1 pick. Wait another 30 picks or whatever for your next pick, which could take a week., a week where yiu formulate your "strategy" (hint: everyone's strategy will be to win with a nice balance of upside and proven production)
You are correct. We could start now and I would be just fine. That doesn't change I'm going to be very busy over the next week for various of reasons and I'd like to prepare myself better as this would be my first dynasty. I look at every league as an investment and I would like to increase my chances of getting a return. A week or so it not an unreasonable amount of time to ask for especially considering when the season will start.

I can care less when this thing starts. The earlier then the more lenient we should be with time between picks, imo. And obviously the opposite with the later we draft.

my idea on a live draft would be splitting it into 2 days. HAlf one day, half another
