Arenado is my favorite player in baseball, but the year he came up everyone was saying he had no plate discipline and wouldn't stick at 3rd. I think Devers will move over before Gallo, but both will likely end up off the keystone in a few years. And it's not like Franco is a defensive wizz. If Philly finds anyone halfway competent at the position he'll be a gone pecan.

It's hard to judge shortstops. Most of the scouts lube up over their defense. I think he has a good hit tool and will be plenty fantasy-relevant. I'd just pump the breaks on the 20+ HR wet dream for now.

They will probably place Altherr on the 60 day DL which means they probably won't wait until OD to do so.
