Don't think I've seen a Maybin highlight since 2013.

As I figured
Moya is now the No. 3 OF in Detroit
Moya in LF, Upton in CF and JD in RF
Thank God I don't have any Detroit pitchers

From the Detroit Free-Press, just under an hour ago:
I'm not seeing anything showing that hes the #3.
quote:
Moya isn’t in line for consistent playing time -- he isn’t a defensive option in centerfield -- but played Wednesday night in leftfield. He is a rightfielder by trade.
Tigers leftfielder Justin Upton has struggled this season, hitting .221 with a major league-leading 53 strikeouts, but has shown signs of coming out of his slump. Given his track record and contract -- five years, $132.75 million -- there’s little chance that the team is promoting Moya to fill his spot.
But Moya could provides a left-handed power bat off the bench, which could be deployed in the upcoming four-game series against the righty-heavy Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards -- traditionally a favorable park for lefty power hitters.
I'm not seeing anything showing that hes the #3.

Upton is playing CF for the 1st time ever tonight
Probably a try out to run those 3 out there.

Maybin is still on a rehab assignment and hasn't been able to play in the field last I heard.

he will be called up as soon as he's ready.
Moya is basically the boomerang of MLB at this point
