A guy on my list that I really like and can’t quite figure out why he doesn’t get more prospect notice is Heriberto Hernandez....granted I only look at stats, have never seen a pic of him.

I thought this might be it...a bat without a position. He's hit well from DSL to late season Short A. This year will probably be key.

He has put a charge into the ball for sure. Seems to me that the the common issue with the DSL/Rookie guys that hit well is that they're usually feasting on fastballs and haven't been exposed to pitchers that can throw advanced breaking pitches. Some of them are capable of hitting those as they move up. Most are not.
