what do they say about Stipling and Anibal?

They have Stripling as drawing the short end of the stick in being part of the rotation. Only 6 starts but with healthy stats. I don't think he starts 31 games, but I think it's higher than 6.

Anibal...let's just say not as good as 2018.

How do YOU feel about Mahle? That's what should be important here. Your opinions matter. Especially if your opinion is that he's a 5th starter who.....ehhh might be better than a FA pickup.

That given my team has no shot at competing in 2019, he has more than enough talent to hold on to and see what develops.

What was surprising is that he went from a command guy with good strikeout stuff in the minors to sometimes looking like he had NO idea where the ball was going in the majors. Career 1.9 BB/9 in the minors and 4.4 BB/9 in the majors. HR/9 also over doubled. If he gets that under control, he could be a SP2 or 3, in my opinion.

RF Franmil Reyes was 3-for-4 with Escogido in the Dominican Republic Wednesday night. He is now hitting .425 (17-for-40) with a .600 slugging percentage with 2 HR

Anytime you can trade for a 22-year-old 1B with a sub-400 slug in the California league, you gotta pull the trigger
