The homer is already the 21st of the season for Diaz, while the double gives the 23-year-old 18 on the season. There have been trade rumors involving Starlin Castro, and if/when that takes place, Diaz should see a promotion. If you need help in the middle infield, there aren't many better to stash right now.

There's an outside shot we see Gore pitching for the Padres in 2019 if this keeps up at the Texas League level.

What makes him an asshat btw? I think they’re all pretty much asshats, but why him specifically? He’s no different than any other internet stat line scout.
