dynasty re-draft today: how many players go before Tatis?

Bellinger
Yelich
Trout

That's the only "clear cut" to me

This year he is on a 40/40 162-game pace at SS

Tied with Bregman in top OBP for SS eligible players, and in second place in SLUG among SS

No advice given. Just my two cents on prospects.

If I actually win a damn thing I’ll consider offering my spreadsheets at a bargain compared to what Silva is charging for his new website.

Maybe Story... I think that's where the debate starts.

Is the rain related to the maybe, possible tropical depression/storm/hurricane?

Our store on Broad street is frickED. It went from ok to insanity in fifteen minutes. Everyone lifted vehicles on to racks and got the frick out of there right before the building and surrounding cars were flooded.

Why are people on the OT calling for the Morganza locks to be opened? Is the river at flood stage, too? What's going on Nola????

The river has been at flood stage for months... but what's happening now in New Orleans is a rainfall event so opening the spillway would do diddly-shite to help.

However, that disturbance that originated in the midwest and swirled down to the gulf is now projected to become a Cat 1 before making landfall... I guess opening the spillway might help lower water levels in the river enough to mitigate some storm surge?

I don't know how fast the river really flows and how many river miles it is from Morganza to New Orleans, so it could be too late regardless.

Lotta people are puckering up over a significant rain event occurring while the river is high. I've always been a believer that it's not if, but when, mother nature decides she doesn't want the levees or the Old River Control Structure to hold the river anymore. IMO, the Mississippi River will be flowing down the Atchafalaya basin eventually (which is where she wants to go). If New Orleans is threatened in the least, they'll open the structures up north, regardless of the political ramifications.
