The league has been rolled over to 2018.
Some items to note:
1. IR slots have been increased to 5.
2. Minor league slots have been increased to 11. There will still only be 2 rounds in the draft.
3. All free agents have been put on waivers. Please get your claims in before claims are processed on October 4th at 2am.
4. Make sure your lineups are legal before making any claims. While some players still have red crosses next to their names, technically making them DL eligible, those could be removed at anytime since the regular season has ended. Just to be sure, I recommend removing all players from your IR.

You can’t have anyone in DL spots so they’d have to go to active roster

Yes, you can. The added roster spot is as of the 2018 season, so you can begin using it immediately.
