I should have held on to Kyle Gibson after his strong finish last season.

I fully intended to pick him back up after guys hit the DL to start this year, but someone beat me to it.

Oh well, shite happens.

Nobody likes this dude but you and I

ETA: wait a minute. You declined a trade involving him too.

ETA2: thanks for declining and saving me

If you don't have stories of guys you misjudged or made mistakes on, then you aren't doing it right. We all have a bunch of these.

LOL. I just looked at the standings for the first time in a while. Your team is loaded and your are THIRTY games back.

I had him back in '15 when he pitched decent. I kept thinking he would take that next step, which he eventually did, I just didn't know it would take 3 years.

Yap he had stretches

I saw him pitch in Fenway in ‘16, went 8 IP, dude looked unhittable. Always told myself I wanted to be there when he figured it out but I think ole papzy got to him

What's weird is that you aren't that far behind him in the power rankings. Dude has definitely discovered the formula to win though.

1. convince me my 30 - 32 year old studs are about to regress

2. overcome my initial rejection of your lowball offer by upselling some MiLB scrub you just added off waivers

3. ???

4. profit

Hamels looks rejuvenated with the cubs. Saw him consistently at 91-93
