That was my initial thoughts, but I kept that to myself.
If he wants out then let him out. Give the team to Honkus. There’s no in between, you’re either in or you’re out.

Trying to sort all this out but looks like Gyno is leaving after this season. Then some drama in between.

Sounds like normal day, did Ron call some people figs?

Take IP away and replace it with another ratio category or any other category that a RP can contribute to - see what happens to the importance of SPs in this league if 5 of the 6 pitching categories can be swayed by stacking RPs
Won’t happen with the IP requirements. You need at least 4 starters to hit it as of now, outside of a rare 2start week by multiple pitchers. I’m living it now. Trying to get by with 3 SPs & it’s nearly impossible.
In the end relief appearnences are still unknown you can’t built a strategy around that lets you coast to our IP requirements in this league.
IP is not important & there is no way to argue that it is. People have tried since the start to justify it & they haven’t been able to

I can't believe he's quitting! This is so out of character!

Skimmed through some of this.
I plan on not starting a catcher for a while unless I trade for one. Is this going to be a problem?
Serious question.

Yea, you will have an illegal lineup and forfeit cats
Posted on 5/28/18 at 10:07 am to papz
Yes, an illegal lineup would be a problem.

i assume you mean leave Castillo in the spot. Not a problem, 3 or 4 teams start DL guys, youre good
Posted on 5/28/18 at 10:14 am to GynoSandberg
This is what I meant.
Posted on 5/28/18 at 10:28 am to papz
Yeah, you could just leave Castillo there.

So reviewing the rules and your proposed plan, this is actually okay the letter of the law, granted I question the strategy with Shark on your roster

"no prospects"
Honk, dont be scared off. You are one of the best streamers, this team and league is perfect for you. Let me break it down to you
"No prospects" is prretty subjective as is, especially if you rely on other people to tell you who is good, but you either have a good team and "no prospects" or you have a bad team with "prospects". Papzy is the only one that can really boast having both.
That said, I have Chado and Severino anchoring hitting and pitching, two of the top guys under 25. Hitting wise, Buxton, Margot, Bader, Teoscar, Ron Guzman are my "prospects", they just happen to be in the league. Pitching, Sean Reid Foley and Mitch White have been on top 100 list, Taylor Widener is leading AA in strikeouts w/ a 2.74. Joe Ross is 25. I have a few more Im eyeing here, it's not a finished product
I would only classify Cruz, Morton and Lester as old on my team. Votto is next at 34. Posey, Dozier, Didi, Thames, Hicks, Adams, Kuechel, Ross are all in their prime.
No 1st RD picks. They are overrated but you can be the judge of that.
This team is in better shape than 90% of the league.
