You aren't REQUIRED to have 11 minor leaguers, but im not really sure why you wouldn't.

He had a great arm but got hurt every year. I recall his throwing motion was pretty dangerous. When he first broke in he was the shite.

I don't have a full MILB bench right now. I have multiple guys coming off of DL soon that I'll have to make room for and I'll do that by moving some milb eligible guys down when needed. Just seems like an unnecessary step to use an add for the week just to fill my milb roster with Joe Blow Minor Leaguer knowing he'll be dropped once my DL starts clearing up after this weekend.

I read a report that he opened his stance a little and it's helping him see the ball better. That improved walk rate might be a direct result. OBP monster in the making

He's blocked for playing time, better suited for an AL team due to his defensive liabilities, and more than likely will be viewed as a AAAA player.
