Bc you're trying to sell high and you don't even know what he's worth

Hicks is 27 and is the 10th rated OF right now pacing 102/28/74 w 20 SBs. Trigger has 13 career starts. Not like Hicks isn't anymore risky than the youngins you keep taking on

So Hicks previous 4 seasons of shitty 1289 AB's are better than Triggs lack of history?

You do realize the irony of this statement as you pimp Arron Hicks, right?

There are layers there Barry that you just don't see. Maybe that's why you can't get anyone to trade with you

Hicks is a former top 20 prospect, still young, and yes, still has risk. Wouldn't be the first late bloomer to figure it out

Redd is anxious to flip a guy he picked up, obviously carries risk after just 13 career starts

You wanna gamble on the low K soft tossing pitcher who is "breaking out" at 28 or a possible breakout 27 year old power/speed combo

No dude, it's implied that there is risk on both sides between two people who seemingly understand the two players being traded. In a perfect world I don't have to explain this to my trade partner

All I'm saying is the things you are knocking redd for is what you are doing with Hicks.

Hicks is hitting more grounders and less fly balls than he ever has. His 30% HR/FB ratio is carrying him quite a bit. His exit velocity is meh. I'd be shocked if he carried an OPS over .800 the rest of the season.

Wat wat?

If you really believe triggs is a 2.21 guy, ya either don't sell or you especially don't sell in May. If he is who he has been, he's going to continue to eat innings at an efficient rate and be more valuable come the deadline

Smart owners are trying to get in now while your valuation on him hasn't peaked

I'm not trying to hide anything about hicks

Dude is 2 years older than judge, he's getting full time look in the best lineup he's been in. I'm not portraying him as a masher but his hr/FB rate can play in yankee stadium, especially when he hits left. Most importantly he's refined his approach at the plate

Top 30 in ISO, nearly top 5 in wRC+ .. meh we will see.

Nothing like a good Triggs/Aaron Hicks debate to kickstart the Tuesday slate

Like I always liked Freeman, but I never thought he would ever hit more than 25 homers. Dude's got 14 in 36 games.

Fantrax rankings (FWIW) say no, but he does have 3 of the top 7.
