Scherzer had plenty of concern surrounding his high effort delivery a few years ago. Crapshoot.

I am told : Potentially season ending injury for Alex Reyes. Tough tough blown for Cardinals.
Partially torn UCL.

I meant, I'd rather have a guy who has thrown 200 innings several times in a row than a guy who hasn't. Not saying he can't get injured.

Bout to release some Offensive Team Rankings, based off of Fantrax projections, since its the easiest way for me to do it.

TIER FIVE:
#20: Barely Legal
Total Points: 47.57
Comments: No surprise here, after the team was blown up in order to rebuild. Not much separates 20th from 17th in the rankings, however.
#19 Swamie
Total Points: 48.58
Comments: No elite bat, with his best being Seager at 36th among all bats. Not enough POP to keep up with the big boys.
#18 CWill
Total Points: 48.61
Comments: Like Swamie, no elite bat, YET. Lots of potential for breakout seasons though, IMO.
#17: Knat
Total Points: 48.75
Comments: And again, no elite bat. Nobody in the top 50, actually. Another young team. Not sure what the direction will be though.

TIER FOUR:
#16 Earl
Total Points: 55.06
Comments: Lots of changes to this lineup, but still some holes. Not many are sold on Mesoraco staying healthy, and there are questions on PT for Gyorko and Conforto.
#15 Rondo
Total Points: 55.47
Comments: Not your typical Rondo offense, which is usually upper-echelon. This ranking will probably result in him making a flurry of moves, however.
#14 Deebz
Total Points: 57.87
Comments: This offense lacks a stud as well, but there are some young breakout candidates on it.

TIER THREE:
#13 RDR
Total Points: 65.32
Comments: I had to check his totals twice, because it seems better than this when I glance at the lineup. Granted, there are a bunch of teams all bunched together in the rankings though.
#12 DJ30
Total Points: 66.43
Comments: No elite player, but a lot of solid overall guys.
#11 Barry
Total Points: 69.02
Comments: Kris Bryant gives this offense a huge boost, although Myers and Bregman are ranked pretty high as well. Bottom part of lineup pretty weak.
#10 CQQ
Total Points: 70.24
Comments: Another team that doesn't have a stud, but is well rounded.
#9: Chat
Total Points: 71.88
Comments: Goldschmidt is the stud, but Cespedes can carry a team in any given week, and he's got Gordon to push his steals count regularly.

You say weak, i say chalked full of potential.

I can agree. My 2017 lineup as is would have been 11th in HR last year. Trumbo (47), Kinsler (28), and Moss (28) would have to repeat last year to hang around as average in pop.
I think Drury and Schoop outperform last year's numbers, but with Hamilton I think I can win at least one cat every week for sure.
Oh well, the makeup of my team isn't dependent on offensive cats anyway.
ETA: Speaking of Drury, Fantrax has him at 26/5/25 .309 .411 puh lease

TIER TWO:
#8 T&P
Total Points: 75.43
Comments: Starting to get into the big boppers now. Some wild cards on this squad (can Schimpf and Story do it again?, how long will V-Mart and Napoli stay upright?).
#7 TTT
Total Points: 76.03
Comments: Lots of players just outside of elite status (Abreu, Marte, Bautista). No huge weak spot in the lineup.
#6 MWG
Total Points: 80.03
Comments: Another team with lots of near-elite guys. McCutchen is a wild card. Cozart at SS the only weak player, and there are no steals to speak of.
#5 LE
Total Points: 83.75
Comments: Top half of lineup is loaded. A few wild cards on this team as well could make it even more dangerous.

TIER ONE
#4 Gyno
Total Points: 89.08
Comments: Probably the most top-heavy lineup in the league. Votto, Cabrera, Dozier, Machado? frick.
#3 Boo
Total Points: 91.35
Comments: A little surprised by this ranking, but Fantrax projections have 8 guys in the top 100 bats somehow.
#2 OMT
Total Points: 95.79
Comments: Strong everywhere but catcher. Nasty. Just nasty.
#1 Papz
Total Points: 100.20
Comments: Trout is the stud, but this lineup also has Freeman, Pollock, etc. I wouldn't take it #1 on the eyeball test though, due to age and some other uncertainties (Thames return, Pollock rebounding, etc)
