First time our league has ever done FAAB. Generally 7/12 teams are pretty passive with trades.

We have 100 dollar budget for the ceiling. I have AJ Brown and Keenan as my Wr1 and 2 but would like to add Puka. NORMALLY is it crazy to blow 20 dollars in week one? Thanks

No it’s not crazy. Think about it. The earlier you spend the money, the better the value since you have more opportunities to start him.

That is not a commentary on the value of Nacau. Just in general.

That's exactly what I was thinking

This was my first year doing FAAB too and I way overbid on everything.

Puka went for $33 (5 bids), Justice Hill for $33(2 bids), Josh Kelley went for $33(only me). Pretty much I got every player I bid on >$10, which I was not expecting at all.

It’s different in every league.

Puka went for $107 my redraft that does FAAB. I paid $107 for Kelley but that was in a dynasty, which is different.

Atwell went for $57 in the same league as Puka.

If you're going to bet $20 bid 21 or 22 so that you don't have a tiebreaker with someone else. A lot of people use round numbers like 10, 15, 20, etc.

FAAB bidding is totally dependent upon each league's owners and your needs.

I bid 27 for Puka and lost him to a bid of 31. Which is funny, because I originally bid 31 as well and lowered.

In another league I was way more desperate I bid 35 and got him. Still probably too much to spend this early.

Some players at certain times may be worth your entire remaining budget. You'll get a feel of your league.
