honestly, the way my team is built I think it may take a few weeks for them to hit their stride and I find my optimal line up. So I'll steal any W I can in the beginning

There really isn't any negatives to changing the format. It's still basically head to head and like LE said, the "banter" is still there.

Not to mention the Monday night games are always awesome drama.

Yeah. We were looking for someone to fill a spot this week but 21 jump street took it.

How does it work? 24 man snake draft with 2 of everyone or just 2 separate 12 man drafts and you play people from the other side too?

I don't disagree

One of the worse squads ive put together in the past couple of years. People reaching for backup QBs early is what killed my team IMO. Would have looked much better with Romo or Luck

Want to trade draft positions and start over? When I draft in the top 3/4 my mock teams turn out freakish. Given, I am paying attention the whole time.

We separate it into 2 conferences each year. This year we started with the conference winners from last year. They would pick a person to be in their conference, then the next person would pick, then the first person picked would pick, then the other team's first pick would pick, ect. It was a cool way of being involved early. Everyone but the last two people got to make a selection.

Once conferences were determined we selected auction dates for each. The player pools for each conference are separated. During the season you are only matched up with the teams in your conference. Top 6 from the first week get a win, bottom 6 get a loss (each conference). Playoffs are the same way. The winners of each conference playoff play in a Super Bowl. Winner takes home almost 1200.00.

Nice break down LE.

When Port took Chris Johnson, my hopes were dashed for a more solid RB2. But then again, he probably would not have made it back down to me either. I like Chris Johnson this year b/c of what the Titans did to shore up their O-line.

count me in for the format change too. Even though the league was highly contested last year because of W/L record, the point totals were not.

I remember playing BHAM towards the end of the year with still an outside shot of making the playoffs. And his team was far and away better than mine. It really wouldn't have been right for me to sneak in on a fluke win. I think he had already been the high scorer a few times and I never was the high scorer at any point last year.

my backs are all solid PPR guys, but I fear my WRs are not. Cruz, Wallace, and a healthy Nelson can put up huge numbers, but not all that consistent
