Lions RB Joique Bell is competing with Keiland Williams and Stefan Logan for a spot on the 53-man roster.Bell rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' preseason opener, and saw action with the second-team offense. This isn't the first time he's performed well in training camp, and it's doubtful he'll suddenly find success with the Lions. Bell could still have deep sleeper appeal given the uncertain futures of Jahvid Best (concussion) and Mikel Leshoure (hamstring).

last 4 preseason games dating back to his time with the Saints last year

9-52
6-50-1
16-80
16-89(with lions the other night)

47-271 yards 5.7 YPC

Saints wanted to keep him last year. Got knicked up and had to let him go.

figured id take a flier since no one is stepping up in Detroit.

I just looked at their depth chart and it had Keiland as the #1 fullback.

LEshoure wont practice until next week. I did some reading up on him and was going to take him in the 9th RD, but decided not to after some research.

Keiland also looked good in game 1.

With so much preseason ahead, no telling what might happen. I hate drafting early because of injury, but Its goign to be kind of exciting to watch some of these late round fliers.
