Haha for my RB4 I figured I can't do better than someone who can be top 10 if Forte were to get injured. That pick was all about potential.

Handcuffing your own back is so 2009

Why not just grab the best backup? It's all the same considering injury probabilities. Who knows which guys get hurt and when?

Bush was the best backup on the board IMO

So when your RB goes down & your prized backup is still a backup, you're not up shite creek.

I do somewhat agree w/ ya tho, cept in cases like Arian Foster. Must handcuff, bc of where
You draft him & his backups potential.

There are only 5 or so combos worth handcuffing. And it's a must in my eyes

That's why taking Arian Foster in the top 3 scares the crap out of me..b/c you gotta reach your arse off on Tate before someone else gets him.

Or he could never get hurt

The good thing about guys like Bush or Tate is they are still flex plays regardless of whether they are starting. So it's a win win regardless.

And like Toula said, it sucks when you have to reach for a handcuff. Your essentially costing yourself a pick.

Agreed, its only worth handcuffing if the backup is capable of stepping in and producing like a good RB. MIchael bush/Tate could be great starters if they were given a full time load. It doesn't make sense to handcuff if your backup is someone like Anthony Allen for the Raven or Dion Lewis for the Eagles. Those are no name guys

It's only a reach if you take him & your starting roster isn't filled out yet, imo
