Not a fan of DFS but I’m voting yes for two reasons.

1. Don’t let government tell you how to spend your money

2. Show that we want this and we’ll get sportsbooks like big boys next year

Yep. If Louisiana sees that something like fantasy sports can put newer cars into their garage, they will be all for a sportsbook

Everyone please add me on draftkings.. username Honkus. I will be setting up a weekly NFL tourney and sending invites out through the app.

If your parish votes yes, this goes live tomorrow.. if im reading the bill correctly (perhaps swamie can chime in).

I'm not a fan of FD pricing (QBs seem to be priced way up). Come to DK it shall be glorious.

I don’t know about that unless that’s what DK or FD is saying. The CA says that it will be allowed if approved by voters subject to legislative regulations and taxation.

Don’t think they’re gonna waive the green flag without figuring how they’re gonna get their cut first.

Since I highly doubt anyone plays PD,

Playdraft is a live draft contest where you get head up and up to 9/10 players in a contest. You hold a 90 second per pick live draft.

They also have best balls for the entire season as well as larger contest.

I havent played in a while and just noticed FanDual purchased them.

There could be a delay with the fantasy sites changing their location services to allow parish to parish vetting as opposed to strictly state by state vetting. I believe Louisiana is the first state to introduce legislation that isn't all or nothing within the state.

I'm voting no... I don't need ESPN or Yahoo to start being able to charge us to use their platform, then potentially being taxed on winnings.

The government can stay out of my business and I'll keep doing what I've been doing. I don't play DFS... so screw that angle.

The government is already in your business. That’s what banning fantasy sports is.

Taxing your winnings won’t happen as long as you collect money beforehand in person/PayPal/Venmo like 99.9% of leagues do.

ESPN or Yahoo can charge you to use their platform with or without this amendment/proposal/whatever passing.

In short, I don’t think of your points for voting no are logical.

This won't affect that. If they wanted to charge you, they could do it today

Congrats. You're a fricking moron who is fighting an eventual losing battle.
