Thinking about going this route to deal with the Andrews situation. Find someone to play for the next three weeks until Hock gets back.

Someone please agree with me cause this hurts.

Tough to argue with a Mark Andrew drop. It's not just like the surface numbers stink. He has an 8% target rate through 4 games. That's microscopic.

Also. Hockensen is available in your league?

Andrews is getting schemed out. Don't fall into the sunk cost fallacy trap.

Obviously I'm not in your league, but guys like Kmet, Craft, Conklin, and maybe even Gesicki should be on the wire. You're not looking for a homerun hitter here, just someone who can reliably get you more than 0.00 - which ain't Andrews.

He's available in a lot of leagues, especially those without IR slots.

that’s wild even for leagues without IR. Some people just don’t know what they are doing

I agree. He actually outscored LaPorta last season on a per game basis. However, I also get that it is difficult to hold onto a player who is still at least a couple of weeks from playing with no IR, injuries, and bye weeks. I have a league where I had to drop a starter just to fill out a lineup this week.

I've already done this after picking up Kmet a couple weeks ago. Andrews very well may come back to form. But, with all the injuries, I'm not about to let him hold up a roster spot

The only time Andrews will perform on a regular basis this season is if Henry gets hurt. Andrews is blocking really well and they’re generally using their TEs to block to help their below average O line. It’s a scheme change and I expect it to continue as they win games

I just don’t see how a 29 year previously highly productive TE drops off the face of the earth for the entire season. I could see him getting back to normal soon and everyone laughing about this in a month or so.

Its not that wild at all. Plenty of leagues don’t have these massive benches that let owners hoard players. My leagues have 4,4, 5 spots with 1 ir spot in each. With the amount of players lost to injury already and no guarantee he will be in shape or form he’s available in several.
