the default start is March 22nd, the day of the first Australian game. This is technically a doubleheader, as Australia is 15/18 hours ahead of ET/PT, so the games are at 4:15AM/1:15AM and 10:00PM/7:00PM respectively.

In a H2H league, the first matchup runs from March 22nd through Sunday, April 6th (2 weeks, 2 days). By default, players will retroactively score points no matter when drafted, however LMs have the option of assigning the first matchup as a bye week for every team if they want the fantasy season to start on Monday, April 7th.

So ESPN is the problem. I also don't have the option to make that a bye week fwiw.
