Can you give me their targets in the years you're referring to in comparison to the rest of the team?

I'll say false.

1. Calvin Johnson
2. Dez Bryant*
3. Julio Jones
4. Demariyus Thomas
5. AJ Green*
6. Brandon Marshall*
7. Randall Cobb*
8. Jordy Nelson
9. Antonio Brown
10. Roddy White*
11. Alshon Jeffery*
12. Vincent Jackson*
13. Keenan Allen*
14. Andre Johnson
15. Pierre Garcon
16. Larry Fitzgerald
17. Wes Welker
18. Victor Cruz*
19. Michael Floyd*
20. Desean Jackson
21. Kendall Wright*

I think all of these guys finish ahead of him.

This is what I'll say about the guy:

as a 4th round pick, which where I see him going majority of drafts, I would not take him.

in late 5th, I would think about it.

I would take him in the 6th, If I needed a WR#3.

I would rather Floyd though, but if he is gone I would take Patterson.

Better question for this thread:

Would you rather Patterson in the 4th or Michael Floyd in late 5th or 6th?

Me: I want Floyd. Dude is killing camp and I like the value of Floyd better. Both are talented, but I'll take value every time.

I like Floyd too, but that's not that great of a value compared to Patterson.

Floyd will improve, but he'll always have a ceiling as long as Fitzgerald is somewhat relevant. shite, a lot of people are calling for a rebound season from him.

Patterson doesn't really have a ceiling. You're talking potentially about a 1200-1300 season with double digit TDs. That upside alone is the difference in that 1 round or 2.

With Maclin pulling a hami he might slip in my top 20.

I would say just outside.

The guy is talented, just not good 4th round pick.

You have that much confidence in Bridgewater?

It's more along the lines of Patterson being able to make big plays. I'm not saying that is what he'll hit for sure, but that is his ceiling. It's higher than Floyd's until Fitzgerald is out of the picture

I'm with you, Patterson can take it to the house at anytime. But the QB scenario worries me. Top 20 WR with how deep the WRS are this year? I'd lean towards not yet.

So much about winning in fantasy is about minimizing risk. I think lottery ticket boom/bust guys are great to have but def not as a no.3 WR. That's mean he's starting on my team and I want a sure thing starting. I will never own guys like Patterson (guys that havent done it yet but are freak athletes and are being drafted in starting positions). I want the lower ceiling/higher floor in my lineup and a wild card on the bench. That way it doesnt hurt me if he busts.

I honestly believe Rudolph has a good shot at scoring more TD's and having nearly as many targets as Patterson. Obviously not nearly as explosive, but I think he's a better target right now.

Well, on the other hand, a lot of people win leagues in the 4th and 5th round on guys that end up producing 1st and 2nd round numbers.

Even if he totally busts, i draft good enough to have a backup plan.
