Who is the better pickup with the Ajayi injury? Both are on waivers and i could use another back. Smallwood has had a couple decent games and clement has had a injury and just coming back.

I picked up Smallwood which means Clement will probably be the better guy going forward.

No one knows. You could guess and choose like everyone else, but all indications are they're going to try and bring an upgrade in from somewhere. In two weeks neither of these guys could even be a flex going forward. Conversely, one and/or both could be an RB2 going forward. Just too early to really answer that question one way or the other.

Coming into the season I would have said Clement was the guy to own but Smallwood has averaged 6 yards a carry this season.

Might be a frustrating backfield to own. I could definitely see them alternating with a hot hand approach. And if all the rumors are true about Philly trying to trade for another back, then it adds even more confusion
