Bush League MFers (got vetoed)

So let's start with the fact that I totally bombed this league. I am 0-7 after drafting Fournette and Bell. It is a keeper league where you keep your top 2 players.
Since I am out of contention, I offered Juju, MT13, and Goff to pick up Zeke for a solid keeper for next year. They said if I dropped Goff from the offer they wouldn't veto. I told that to go frick themselves.

That is a terrible arse trade. Thomas is arguably as valuable as Zeke, and you're giving up a top 7 fantasy QB and a top 10 WR with Thomas, the #3 PPR wide receiver. You would be giving someone the league for the slightest of upgrades. frick that noise.

It is non-PPR. Zeke is the #9 flex scorer. MT and Juju are 23 and 36 respectively. It isn't even that lopsided of a trade in a non-Keeper league.

So why not drop Goff from the offer and then use him for trade bait in another deal?

Trade is shitty though, I don’t play in that type of keeper league but there should be rules to prevent that from happening. Your basically handing that dude the trophy which is why your league is pissed; doesn’t mean both sides don’t benefit but your sacrificing the integrity of your league for a slight advantage next year.

I normally agree but it’s an interesting situation.
I understand punting on this year to set yourself up for next year...but I think it’s fair to keep the integrity of the league intact like someone mentioned.
