Gronk is such a goofball. That second gif is hilarious. Just a big kid.

Amari Cooper went as WR5, 8th overall.

Brandin Cooks went as WR13, 24th overall.

Last two years:

Cooper 2015 72-1070-6
Cooper 2016 83-1153-5

Cooks 2015 84-1138-9
Cooks 2016 78-1173-8

Cooper is less than a year younger than Cooks.

I don't think Cooper is a bad pick at 8, I just think this is an interesting comparison.

Cooper has a much younger QB throwing to him with less competition for targets

Less competition for targets is what it boils down too. Cooper is more versatile too

That argument doesn't do much for me. You're docking Cooks for part of his current situation while not giving him credit for another part of his current situation- much better QB play over the next couple years

Cooks just disappears at times. I remember doing the math and he scored at lot of his points in 3-4 games. Still a good value pick right there

Much better? QB play doesn't matter when the targets will go down. Especially when it's from Brees to Brady

There are a lot of mouths to feed in NE

Much better was in reference to Brady > Carr, not Brady > Brees. I am captain of the Brees fan club

There definitely are a lot of mouths to feed. We'll see what happens

Not trying to shite on your pick.. it was the right player to take there. I just really like Amari Cooper's situation
