Statement by Mike Tomlin on Ben Roethlisberger:
Ben Roethlisberger had an MRI on his right elbow Sunday evening and it was determined by the Steelers’ medical team that surgery will be required. We expect the surgery will be scheduled for this week. He will be placed on our Reserve/Injured List and is out for the season.

I have Jared Cook and Vance McDonald as my TEs.
Although I guess McDonald did get 2 TDs from the Steelers back-up so I guess I'll roll with him this week and see how it goes.

The studs will still produce, but yeah probably can't expect consistently elite production every week anymore. Big ripple effects from 2 injuries

We will have to wait to see how the two backups play with full practice time with the 1s and the gameplan tailored to what they do well. Conner and Kamara may not put up the exact same numbers, but should be fine.

I have Mac in multiple leagues and he did better after Ben leaving the game. Week one, that offense was a dumpster fire and looked to be the same before BR left the game. Ju Ju was about the same between week 1 and 2, but Mac put up serious points this week and was non-existent in week 1. I think the Steelers offense won’t fall as much as people think.
