Mariota looks awful.
They run High School plays in the red zone.
Mularkey is a clown.

Those are my takeaways from my first game as a Davis owner.

Mularkey’s comments were telling. Seems they don’t have a ton of confidence in him and perhaps he’s struggling to adjust to NFL. They made it seem like he will continue to struggle since he missed preseason and has been hurt most of the year

Makes sense

It’s rare for rookie WRs to step in and ball out. We have kinda gotten spoiled the last few years by a few, but that offense w Mariota isn’t totally conducive to producing one right off the bat. It will take time

Someone is benefitting and it aint Davis

quote:

Since Corey Davis' return for the Titans, Rishard Matthews' lines:

Week 9: 4-70-1 (vs. Baltimore)
Week 10: 5-50-0 (vs. Cincinnati)
Week 11: 5-113-1 (vs. Pittsburgh)

Seems we put the cart before the horse here

I mean if he is your 4th or 5th WR on your roster I cant imagine many people on waivers with more immediate upside.

Davis has also had a rough schedule in terms of opposing teams since coming back. He is nothing more than a stash at this point but he has talent and a role going forward.

10 targets last week and almost a TD...as crappy as Thursday was he still had 7 targets on a short week and will get plenty of time to practice next week against a softer defense.

I would hold but again only if you can roster at least 3-4 WRs that are more useful to you now as you wait to see if Davis has any value this year.

Well was Davis facing those teams #1 corner? If so those lines don't surprise me

None of those teams shadowed him but they are tough secondaries nonetheless

He appears to be a bit out of shape judging by last night. Mularkey (terrible coach btw) all but blamed two of mariota’s INTs on Davis

one he should have fought harder to come back to. Every other one was Mariota's fault

Yes
He is a bench stash.
Very favorable matchups here on out!
