They were feeding him the ball to try to get him signed on another team. It’s a respect move for a veteran that’s gonna get cut. Let them show their stuff so they have a chance to get signed elsewhere. Chiefs did the same with Carlos Hyde

Well I’m taking the flyer on him just as a bench stash

Only thing is I have to cut either Marvin Jones or Larry Fitzgerald

You’re high if you cut fitz or Marvin Jones for him

Hard to believe how it wasn’t even that long ago that he was a top 5 WR.

Yes they did. As depth. I doubt he wanted to be depth. They were trying to get him a spot as a contributor somewhere like Hyde got

Hell be a better real life player than fantasy contributor. I wouldn’t roster him unless you’re talking a 14 or more team league.

That’s just not true. They only cut him because they wanted to IR/return Harry, and you have to be in the initial 53 man roster to get that designation

They were always plans to resign him once the initial was set and they even gave him a pay raise when he came back. He will stick on the roster all year as long as he’s heathy. He’s a solid 4th WR for them and will help in the red zone with the absence of Gronk

I know he had some productivity in the 4th game against 3rd-4th stringers, but he looked really slow. He couldn’t get any separation against backups. Not expecting much from him.

Edelman
White
Gordon

So at best he will be 4th in target share. Jakobi Meyers could seemingly our target him as well

Stashed on bench for a few weeks in one league (not the league I needed to cut jones or Fitzgerald)

No. Gordon and Edelman will be the receivers to own

WR on the wrong side of 30, coming off his 2nd Achilles, down in the pecking order for targets. This is the stash we choose?

What is best case scenario for DT88, stat wise?

Listen to this man.

He’s a big ole WR coming off Achilles. What could go wrong??
